Camp is a supportive, substance-free space rooted in recovery and shared experience. Code of conduct at Camp Soberfest exists to protect what makes this community powerful: safety, sobriety, connection, and joy. Camp is intentionally designed as a supportive, substance-free environment rooted in recovery and shared experience. Every person who attends contributes to the culture we create together.
By attending Camp Soberfest, you agree to uphold the following standards:
- Remain substance-free (no alcohol or mood-altering substances)
- Respect designated tobacco and vaping policies
- Honor personal boundaries, confidentiality, and community care
- Follow quiet hours and all property guidelines
- Treat others with kindness, dignity, and mutual respect
These guidelines are not about restriction — they are about protection. A sober container allows everyone to show up authentically, participate fully, and feel safe. Respecting confidentiality ensures that conversations shared in vulnerability remain protected. Honoring boundaries builds trust. Following quiet hours supports rest and recovery for all campers.
If someone arrives under the influence, we respond with compassion and care. At the same time, we are committed to maintaining a safe and sober environment for the entire group. Safety always comes first.
Camp Soberfest is more than an event. It is a community built on accountability, encouragement, and fun without substances. By agreeing to this code of conduct, you help preserve the integrity of the experience for yourself and for others.
Full guidelines will also be available on-site at camp. Thank you for helping us create a safe, welcoming, and recovery-centered space for everyone.
