Set among the pine forests and lakes of East Texas, Camp Sober Fest at Trinity is a one-of-a-kind retreat for people in recovery from drugs and alcohol who have a sincere desire to stop drinking and using.
This is a drug- and alcohol-free retreat with a zero-tolerance policy for any substances on property, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for everyone.
Our Trinity retreat runs Thursday through Sunday. You’re welcome to arrive later if needed, but the price remains the same regardless of arrival time.
Each day brings new adventures and opportunities to connect—from horseback riding, zip lining, high ropes, and our famous Wet Willie water slide (into the lake!) to relaxing by the pool, exploring your creativity in arts and crafts, or joining in archery, rifle range activities, axe throwing, breathwork, yoga, Olympic-style games, karaoke, and our crowd-favorite talent show.
Every activity is weather dependent and completely optional—you can join in everything, or simply relax and soak up the serenity of camp life.
Camp Sober Fest is built on love, inclusion, and acceptance. We welcome all people—of every race, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation, and background—to come as they are. This is a safe, affirming space where everyone belongs and is celebrated for who they are.
You’ll laugh, heal, and connect in ways you didn’t know were possible. Camp Sober Fest Trinity is not just a retreat—it’s a community, a homecoming, and a family that will stay with you long after camp ends.

My life long dream of finding my tribe has been made possible by camp soberfest! I went for the first time in 2022 and my entire world was crushed and the same magic happened both years and both locations! The love and support of the counselors and fellow campers and the camp staff are all kind hearted warm people who want to be there! The food was delicious 😋 and the atmosphere of love and being included was abundantly amazing! It’s an honor and a privilege to have brought my newly sober gf with me so she could experience the joy and love 💜 of camp soberfest! Thank you for making my dreams come true!

I talked a gang of smack before heading to camp. Begrudgingly, I agreed to go. I did all I could stay open-minded leading up to my arrival and I’m glad that was the case… my time at camp was nothing short of life-changing… the friendships, experiences, and memories created are some of my favorites of all-time.
Meetings around the bonfire with shooting stars & testimonies to make your arm hair stand straight – this is true community! From the late night games, to small intimate chats while braiding hair and doing vision boards; My cup overflowing with the relationships & memories I’ll carry with me forever. Thank You Camp Sober Fest 🙂
I had a blast and I was able to feed the child inside of me. This is a place of healing and community. I look forward to going each year and will continue to go every year that its held. Thank you Breezy for the love you show each and everyone of us.
My first experience at camp was one to be remembered. There were definitely some learning lessons like with anything else but I am super excited for next year and hopeful I will do whatever it takes to make this trip happen again and to really jump out of my shell and make more friends!!
