About Camp Sober Fest

Camp Sober Fest Home

Camp Sober Fest was created with a simple belief: sobriety should be something people celebrate, not something they endure.

Across the country, millions of people are seeking meaningful connection, authentic friendships, personal growth, and opportunities to experience life without alcohol or substances. Yet many discover that finding community after recovery can be one of the most challenging parts of the journey.

Camp Sober Fest was built to change that.

We bring together individuals from all walks of life through sober retreats, recovery-focused experiences, wellness activities, outdoor adventures, and community events designed to create lasting memories and meaningful relationships.

Our mission is simple: help people discover that recovery can be joyful, fulfilling, adventurous, and deeply connected.

Texas Sober Retreat

Why Camp Sober Fest Exists

Many people enter sobriety believing they must give something up. They worry about losing friendships, social experiences, travel opportunities, entertainment, or a sense of belonging.

We believe the opposite is true.

Recovery creates opportunities to build a richer life filled with authentic relationships, personal growth, wellness, purpose, and adventure.

Camp Sober Fest was created to provide a space where individuals can experience all of those things while surrounded by people who understand their journey.

Whether someone is newly sober, years into recovery, sober-curious, or simply seeking an alcohol-free lifestyle, our goal is to provide experiences that foster connection, confidence, healing, and community.

More Than a Sober Retreat

Camp Sober Fest is not a conference room, a lecture series, or a traditional recovery meeting. It is a fully immersive sober lifestyle experience designed for people who want to build a life they genuinely love.

Our sober retreats attract individuals from all walks of life, including people in recovery, sober-curious travelers, wellness-focused individuals, entrepreneurs, creators, couples, professionals, and those searching for meaningful community. What brings everyone together is a shared desire for connection, growth, healing, and adventure without alcohol or drugs.

Our Community

The Camp Sober Fest community includes people from all backgrounds, professions, and stages of recovery.

Some attendees are celebrating their first few months of sobriety. Others have decades of recovery experience. Many arrive alone, uncertain of what to expect. By the end of the weekend, they often leave with friendships that continue long after the event ends.

Our community includes professionals, entrepreneurs, parents, creatives, wellness advocates, treatment professionals, recovery leaders, and individuals simply looking for a healthier way to live.

What unites everyone is a shared desire for connection, growth, and authentic experiences.

What Makes Camp Sober Fest Different

Most recovery-focused events concentrate solely on education or support. While those elements remain important, Camp Sober Fest takes a broader approach.

We believe recovery should include fun.

Our events combine recovery fellowship with outdoor adventure, wellness programming, entertainment, community activities, personal development, and social experiences that help people rediscover joy without substances.

Instead of focusing on what sobriety removes, we focus on everything it makes possible.

That philosophy has helped Camp Sober Fest become more than a sober retreat. It has become a movement centered around connection, belonging, wellness, and living life fully.

Our Vision for the Future

Our vision is to build one of the most impactful sober communities in the United States.

Through retreats, events, educational resources, partnerships, sponsorships, and community initiatives, we aim to help more people experience the freedom, support, and opportunity that recovery can provide.

As Camp Sober Fest continues to grow, our commitment remains unchanged: create environments where people feel welcomed, valued, supported, and inspired.

We believe every person deserves a community that encourages them to thrive.
